Meet Your Doula | Abby Rocket
Ever since I can recall, I have been captivated by the topic of birth and babies. This fascination evolved into a passion for supporting mothers during the miraculous process of childbirth. Experiencing my first child's birth deepened this desire to help women and families throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. In 2020, I became a Doula and provided encouragement and knowledge for my clients.
As a certified Doula, I am honored to share my expertise and experience with women and families in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. I am prepared to support mothers who give birth with a partner, alone, or via surrogacy. My approach focuses on encouraging each mother's choice in their birthing style and preferred setting. In addition to the physical support during labor, my role encompasses empowering and advocating for the expectant mother and her family.
My personal experiences, in conjunction with my training, enable me to offer a unique and comprehensive approach to my clients. I have given birth naturally with the help of a midwife and even served as a surrogate, bringing a long-awaited baby into the lives of eager parents. These experiences grant me an insightful, multifaceted perspective on the various needs of birthing mothers. It would be my utmost joy and honor to serve you.
At home when I'm not with a mama in labor you'll find me baking some sort of sourdough treats or breads of all kinds! It's a hobby that as a mama feels so fulfilling because I feed my family with it. You'll also find me doing some random craft or project here and there, like making beeswax wraps or maybe doing a craft for my daughters school projects.
I grew up as part of a family of 6, 2nd youngest and only girl! (Yes all 5 of my siblings are boys!) My mom had 4 out of the 5 of us at home, and one didn't even wait for the midwife to get there! My dad delivered him.
